The Ludington area has an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime chance to launch its own world of cultural opportunities for the people who live here.  The conversion of the United Methodist Church of Ludington to a cultural center for all of the arts is a watershed moment in the region’s history.


Those who take the lead in making this dream a reality will create an enduring legacy that will enhance the lives of generations to come, contribute to a diversified economic growth for the area, and provide a year-round attraction that will draw people to Ludington.  The Ludington Area Center for the Arts will also be a vital community resource for students, providing education and programs for music and art that the schools may not longer be able to offer.


This significant opportunity presents great challenge and requires great commitment.  With the support of leading citizens who recognize the cultural and economic benefits of the arts, the Ludington Area Arts Council has launched one of the most ambitious fundraising campaigns ever seen in our region.  Based on this initial financial support, we can successfully appeal to the larger community to provide the financial foundation to create, maintain and operate a thriving arts center in downtown Ludington.
